MEET TONY
Tony DeVecht serves as Founder and President of College Planning Advisors, LLC, and CollegeStrategy.org. These firms specialize in the optimization of student services and funding strategies to ensure students make their dream school a reality without risking their parent’s retirement.
Tony and his wife reside in Michigan, after raising their son and daughter. From experience, they understand the expense of college, as well as the strategic way to fund it. While they enjoy their empty nest status, Tony spends many sleepless nights thinking of new ways to save parents money!
Tony has spent over 35 years in business to save people money. Tony’s experience led him to the realization that most financial advisors lack a holistic approach of life’s journey — from that new kid on the job to funding college educations, retirement savings, and tax planning. Tony was so concerned about that limited approach, especially around college strategies, that he came out of retirement to open his own consulting business.
Tony’s goal is to educate families in this complex process in hopes that he can help other families avoid many of the costly mistakes that he almost made in his own children’s college process.
